Set preferences
After you connect to a personal edition cloud computer, you can use the Cloud Computer Assistant to configure your preferences for the display, image quality, control, and tips. This topic describes how to configure these preferences.
This topic uses macOS client 8.5.5 as an example. If your experience differs from the description in this topic, you may be using a different type of client or an outdated version. Upgrade your client to the latest version.
Accessing settings
Follow these steps to open the preference settings:

On the cloud computer desktop, click the Cloud Computer Assistant. In the menu that appears, click Management.

Click the Preferences tab on the Management panel, which includes Display, Image quality, Control, and Tips.

Cloud computer dual-screen |
If your local computer is connected to an external display, turn on Cloud computer dual-screen to use the dual-screen feature. After the cloud computer enters full-screen mode, the dual-screen display format (extended screen or replicated screen) defaults to the dual-screen settings of your local computer. This setting applies only to the current cloud computer. After you change the setting, exit and re-enter full-screen mode for the change to take effect. |

Image quality preferences
On the Image Quality tab, select one of the following options:

Intelligent mode: The cloud computer automatically adjusts the frame rate and image quality based on the usage scenario, device, and network conditions.

Smoothness first: The maximum frame rate is 60 FPS and the maximum image quality is Good. You cannot modify the maximum frame rate and image quality.

Image quality first: The maximum frame rate is 30 FPS and the maximum image quality is High. You cannot modify the maximum frame rate and image quality.

Custom: You can customize the image quality parameters. A higher frame rate and better image quality require a more powerful device and a better network connection. The real-time frame rate and image quality are dynamically adjusted based on your device and network.

Maximum frame rate: The number of frames displayed per second. A higher frame rate results in smoother images. The unit is frames per second (FPS). The value ranges from 10 to 60.

Maximum image quality: The highest quality that the cloud computer image can achieve.

Left Command (⌘) key |
Set the key that the left Command (⌘) key on a Mac keyboard maps to on the cloud computer. For example, you can map the left Command (⌘) key to the Ctrl key or Windows key on the cloud computer to use your preferred keyboard shortcuts. |

Right Command (⌘) key |
Set the key that the right Command (⌘) key on a Mac keyboard maps to on the cloud computer. You can configure different key mappings for the left and right Command (⌘) keys to suit your preferences. |

When this option is enabled, the mouse cursor is confined to the cloud computer window. This is useful for 3D software and games. For example, in a 3D game, enabling this option ensures that you can fully rotate your view. When this option is enabled, you can configure a shortcut key to release the cursor. Press the shortcut key or press the Esc key twice to temporarily release the cursor, allowing it to move outside the cloud computer window. Note

Cloud Computer Assistant display content |
Control the content displayed in the Cloud Computer Assistant and its pop-up panel. Local device battery: If enabled, the ring around the Cloud Computer Assistant shows the remaining battery percentage of your local device. When you hover the mouse pointer over the Cloud Computer Assistant, the pop-up panel also displays the battery level of your local device. If you run the Wuying client on a laptop, the Cloud Computer Assistant displays the laptop's battery level and charging status. |
