Purchase and offset rules

Description

Purchase rules

  • A resource plan takes effect immediately after purchase and automatically offsets outbound data transfer fees in the regions that the area covers. Each plan has a validity period of one year. You forfeit any unused data when the plan expires.

  • You can purchase multiple resource plans without a limit. If you have multiple active plans, they are consumed in order of expiration date, starting with the one that expires soonest.

    Note
    • If you purchase an outbound data transfer plan smaller than 50 TB and your usage exceeds the plan's quota, a promotional discount may apply. The discount covers the first 50 TB of overage. Alibaba Cloud bills any overage beyond 50 TB at the standard outbound data transfer rates.

    • If you purchase an outbound data transfer plan of 50 TB or larger, you are not eligible for the outbound data transfer promotion.

Plan areas and sizes

  • Areas: Plans are available for specific geographic areas, including Chinese mainland, Asia Pacific, Indonesia, Europe & Americas, and Middle East. Each area covers a different set of regions. For the specific regions included in each area, refer to the console.

  • Sizes: 1 TB, 10 TB, and 100 TB.
