An express connect circuit incurs the following fees:

Fiber optic cabling fee	Charged by the carrier. Contact the carrier for end-to-end connection pricing. Note Alibaba Cloud access point data centers are not owned by Alibaba Cloud. Billing details

Port resource usage fee

Varies by dedicated port specification.
Monthly subscription. The billing cycle starts when you purchase or renew the resource (UTC+8) and ends at 00:00:00 on the day after the expiration date.
Bills are typically generated on the first day of the month after a billing cycle ends. The actual time may vary.

Outbound data transfer fee

Fee for data transferred from Alibaba Cloud to your data center over a dedicated circuit.

The outbound data transfer fee is the sum of outbound transfer fees across all regions under your account.

The formula for calculating the fee in a region is: Outbound data transfer fee = Unit price of outbound data transfer × Total outbound data transferred over all dedicated Express Connect circuits in the region
The circuit owner pays the outbound data transfer fee, even if the circuit is associated with virtual border router (VBR) instances owned by other Alibaba Cloud accounts.
Partial hours are billed as a full hour.

Note

In Chinese mainland regions, an express connect circuit owner can apply to create shared ports only if their company holds an MIIT-issued A26 license. Contact your account manager to apply.
In regions outside the Chinese mainland, shared port permissions are not enabled by default. Contact your account manager to apply.

Subscription

Port resource service is suspended 15 days after subscription expiration.

The system sends email and SMS notifications 7, 3, and 1 days before the subscription expires.
If service remains suspended for 7 days, the port resource is released and its configurations and data are permanently deleted.

Renew the subscription within 15 days after expiration to restore service.

Outbound data transfer

Pay-as-you-go

When a pay-as-you-go bill is overdue, the system sends an SMS and email notification to the account owner.

Service continues during the grace period.

Note
Alibaba Cloud provides the extended suspension-free benefit. When a pay-as-you-go resource is overdue, you can continue to use cloud services for a certain amount or duration. Normal fees apply during the extended period. For more information, see Extended Suspension-Free Benefit.
Service is suspended once the grace period ends or its limit is exceeded.
If the bill remains unpaid for 7 days after suspension, the resource is released and its configurations and data are permanently deleted.

The system sends an SMS and email notification one day before release.

To pay an overdue pay-as-you-go bill, add funds to your account.

Adding funds during the grace period prevents service suspension.
If you add funds within 7 days of suspension, the system automatically pays the bill and restores service.

Review your Express Connect bills to track costs and spending.

Note

If an Express Connect partner provides and pays for your shared circuit, use the partner's Alibaba Cloud account to view bills. Contact your partner for access.

View monthly bill overview

Go to the Expenses and Costs console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Bills > Overview of Monthly Bill. On this page, you can view total monthly charges, make payments, and export a sealed PDF bill. View and analyze bills.

View bill details

Go to the Expenses and Costs console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Bills > Bill Details. On this page, you can view transaction records, detailed bills, usage details, and pricing summaries. Bill Details.
