A subscription is a prepaid billing method where you pay for resources before you use them. A subscription lets you reserve decision engine resources in advance at a lower unit price. This document describes the billing rules, specifications, and pricing for the Fraud Detection subscription.
Purchase
To purchase a Fraud Detection subscription:

Log on to your Alibaba Cloud account and complete enterprise real-name verification.

Go to the Fraud Detection subscription purchase page, select an edition and a subscription duration, then complete the payment.
Use cases
The subscription billing method is a good fit for the following business scenarios:

You have consistent, ongoing risk control needs.

You need to use the decision engine to independently configure and operate policies.

You have a large number of calls, making a subscription more cost-effective than pay-as-you-go.
Product types
The Fraud Detection subscription purchase page offers the following two product types:

Fraud Detection Trial Service: For online testing of the Fraud Detection service only. It provides trial specifications with a QPS limit of 500 and a maximum of 100,000 total calls per month. The price is CNY 800/month.

Fraud Detection service: The official decision engine service that provides features including personalized event management, flexible policy configuration and execution, and a rich set of variables and monitoring tools. It is available in four editions: Basic Edition, Advanced Edition, Premium Edition, and Ultimate Edition.
Billing cycle
A billing cycle starts at the exact second a resource is activated or renewed and ends at the exact second of its expiration.
If you purchase multiple subscription instances, the billing cycle for each instance is calculated independently. To renew an existing instance, go to the Renewal Management page in your console.
Expiration and release
When a subscription instance expires, its service is suspended, and the instance enters a 15-day retention period. During this period, your instance data is retained, and you can restore the instance by renewing your subscription.
If you do not renew the subscription by the end of the retention period, the system permanently releases the instance. After release, all data cannot be recovered. To continue using the Fraud Detection service, you must purchase a new instance.
The validity period of the remaining number of calls in your subscription is independent of the expiration and release cycle of the QPS package (instance). The expiration of the QPS package does not affect the validity of your remaining calls. You can view your remaining calls and their expiration date in the Fraud Detection console.
The 'instance release' system notification refers to the subscription instance (QPS package) expiring and has no effect on your remaining number of calls. After the subscription instance is released, you can still use your remaining calls, which will be processed under the pay-as-you-go model until they expire.
Specifications
The Fraud Detection service (subscription) is available in four editions: Basic Edition, Advanced Edition, Premium Edition, and Ultimate Edition. The service is available in the China (Shanghai) region.
