Starting April 8, 2024, the free Internet data transfer quota provided by Cloud Data Transfer (CDT) increases from 20 GB/month to 200 GB/month for BGP (Multi-ISP) lines. This quota is shared across eight Alibaba Cloud services, including Function Compute.

CDT provides 200 GB/month of free Internet data transfers on BGP (Multi-ISP) lines. This quota is shared across the following eight services:
Elastic Compute Service (ECS)
Elastic IP Address (EIP)
Function Compute
Classic Load Balancer (CLB)
Internet Shared Bandwidth
IPv6 Internet bandwidth
Anycast EIP
Global Accelerator (GA)
The 200 GB/month quota breaks down as follows:

Free quota for new and existing users
New and existing users are defined as follows:
New users: Users who activate Function Compute at or after 00:00:00 on December 19, 2023.
Existing users: Users who activated Function Compute before 00:00:00 on December 19, 2023.
Function Compute provides an additional free quota exclusive to its users, separate from the CDT quota.
New users: first 3 months
New users receive 100 GB/month of free Internet data transfers for the first 3 months after activation. This quota is valid until exhausted or expired.
Existing users: 12-month grant
Starting 00:00:00 on January 5, 2024, existing users receive 100 GB/month of free Internet data transfers for 12 months. This quota is valid until exhausted or expired.
How quotas work together
When both the Function Compute user quota and the CDT quota are active, the CDT quota is consumed first. The two quotas can be used in combination.
