Manage MaxCompute synchronization tasks
HoloWeb provides a one-click visual interface for synchronizing data from MaxCompute, which enables fast data queries. This topic describes how to create a synchronization task and view its status.
Prerequisites
You have purchased a Hologres instance and created a database.
Create a MaxCompute data synchronization task
To create a MaxCompute data synchronization task, see Import data from MaxCompute by using HoloWeb.
View MaxCompute data synchronization tasks
-
In the top menu bar of the HoloWeb development page, click Data Solutions.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, click Import MaxCompute Data.
-
On the Import MaxCompute Data page, specify filter parameters and click Search. The filter parameters include instance name, database, and status. The query returns a list with the No., MaxCompute source table, Instance name, Database, Status (for example, Successful or Failed), Creation time, End time, and Actions columns. In the Actions column, you can click Details, Rerun, Delete, or Execution History to manage the synchronization task.
If you do not specify values for Instance Name, Database, and Status, all MaxCompute data synchronization tasks in your account are returned, regardless of status.
The following table describes the parameters.
Parameter
Description
Instance name
The name of the Hologres instance you are logged in to.
Database
The name of the database in the current Hologres instance.
Status
Valid values:
-
Running: The synchronization task is in progress.
-
Successful: The synchronization task completed successfully.
-
Execution Failed: The synchronization task failed.
-
Interrupted: The synchronization task was interrupted.
You can perform the following actions on the tasks in the list:
-
View task details.
Click Details in the Actions column. The MaxCompute data synchronization details page appears, where you can view detailed information about the task.
-
Rerun a task.
Click Rerun in the Actions column to run the task again.
After the task starts, you can click Stop in the Actions column to interrupt it.
-
Delete a synchronization task.
To delete a synchronization task, click Delete in the Actions column.
-
View the execution history of a task.
Click Execution History in the Actions column to view the execution details of each SQL command in the task, such as whether a command succeeded or failed and its execution duration. In the Execution history dialog box, a table lists the executed SQL commands with the Start time, SQL (Click to copy), Status, and Execution duration (ms) columns. The synchronization process runs commands in sequence to perform operations such as inserting data (
INSERT INTO), dropping the original table (DROP TABLE), renaming a temporary table (ALTER TABLE RENAME), and cleaning up a foreign table (DROP FOREIGN TABLE). In a successful run, all commands have the Successful status. You can click an SQL command to copy it.
