This topic describes why overdue payments occur for Intelligent Media Management (IMM), how an overdue payment affects your service, and how to view your bill and usage.

Causes

  • You have not purchased a resource plan, and your account balance is insufficient.

  • Your resource plan has expired or your usage has exceeded its quota, and your account balance is insufficient.

Service impacts

An overdue payment affects your IMM service as follows:

  • If the overdue amount is within your service suspension protection quota, your service is not suspended.

    Note

Alibaba Cloud provides service suspension protection. This feature allows you to continue using pay-as-you-go resources up to a specific quota or for a certain period after your account has an overdue payment. Billing continues normally during this period. The protection quota is not an upper limit on the total overdue amount you can accumulate. Your protection quota and duration are automatically calculated and updated each month based on factors like your historical spending on Alibaba Cloud. For more information, see Service suspension protection.

  • If the overdue amount exceeds the service suspension protection quota, your IMM service is automatically suspended. However, billing for occupied resources continues, and your overdue balance continues to accumulate.

  • If you pay your outstanding balance in full within 15 days of the service suspension, your IMM service is automatically reactivated.
