A solution in IoT Studio is a collection of resources customized and published for the features of different projects. The collection includes published products, applications, services, hardware information, and documents from a project. You can add resources as needed and publish the collection as a private, authorized, or public solution.
Usage notes
- For users of the public preview version who registered before June 16, 2022: Only users with whitelist permissions can continue to use the solutions feature.
- On or after June 16, 2022, you must purchase the Enterprise or Ultimate Edition of IoT Studio to use the solutions feature. For more information about IoT Studio product specifications, see Product specifications.
Solution types
Based on your needs, you can publish a project as one of the following solution types:
- Private solution: Lets you quickly copy and deliver a standard solution. Other developers cannot see it.
- Authorized solution: Lets you and authorized developers use the solution.
- Public solution: Published to the solution marketplace for all developers to use.
