This topic describes common issues that occur when a solution provider's cloud application connects to IoT Platform.
Cloud application connection failure
A common cause of failure is an incorrect AccessKey ID, AccessKey secret, or Alibaba Cloud account ID (UID).
You can check the values for the AccessKey ID, AccessKey secret, and UID and enter the correct values.
Cloud application cannot call IoT Platform APIs
A common cause of failure is that the device vendor has not granted authorization to the Resource Access Management (RAM) user. When the cloud application calls an IoT Platform API without this authorization, the call fails.
You can grant permissions to the RAM user. For more information, see Grant permissions to a RAM user.
