When you use the rules engine in IoT Platform to forward device data to other Alibaba Cloud products, confirm that the destination product is available in the region and supports the required data format. This topic describes the destination cloud products that support data forwarding in different regions.
Background information
IoT Platform provides public instances and Enterprise instances in the China (Shanghai), Singapore, Japan (Tokyo), US (Silicon Valley, Virginia), and Germany (Frankfurt) regions. Only Enterprise instances are available in the China (Beijing) and China (Shenzhen) regions. The IoT Platform console has an Instance Overview tab. This tab lists public instances and purchased Enterprise instances. You can click a target instance to open its management page.
This topic describes the destination cloud products that support data forwarding in each region for the previous version of the data forwarding feature. For information about regions supported by the new version of data forwarding, see Features by region.

Enterprise instances
Currently, Enterprise instances are available only in the China (Shanghai), China (Beijing), China (Shenzhen), Singapore, US (Virginia), and Japan (Tokyo) regions. The following tables show the destination cloud products that support data forwarding and the supported data formats in each region and zone.
Important Enterprise instances do not support cross-region data forwarding. For example, data from an IoT Platform instance in China (Shanghai) can be forwarded only to an RDS table in China (Shanghai).
