Limitations

Currently, the security risk detection feature is available only for IoT Platform Enterprise Edition instances in the China (Shanghai) and China (Beijing) regions.

Billing

The security risk detection service for an IoT Platform Enterprise Edition instance uses a pay-as-you-go billing model. For more information, see IoT Security Operations (Postpaid) Description.

Procedure

To use the security risk detection service, you must activate it in IoT Security Center.

1. Log on to the IoT Platform console.

2. On the Instance Overview tab, find and click the name of your IoT Platform Enterprise Edition instance.

3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Security Center > Threat List.

4. On the Threat List page, click Activate Now.

5. On the purchase page, select a Region and an IoT Platform Instance.

6. Click Buy Now and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation.

   After you complete these steps, you are redirected to the System Management > Authorization Details page on the IoT Security Center console.

   Note

   You can also manage and configure security detection settings on the Security Center > Threat List page for the corresponding instance.

7. On the Authorization Details page, turn on the switch for the target IoT Platform Instance.

Optional: Disable security risk detection

If you no longer need security risk detection for an instance, you can disable the service.

1. Log on to the IoT Security Center console.

2. In the upper-left corner of the console, select the target IoT Platform Enterprise Edition instance from the drop-down list.

3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose System Management > Authorization Details.

4. On the Authorization Details page, turn off the switch for the target IoT Platform Instance.
