The Card Management page displays basic information about your cards. On this page, you can top up cards, export card details, manually suspend or resume cards, and cancel card accounts.

Note

You can perform the same operations on the Plan Voucher Management page by clicking View next to a specific plan voucher. The Card Management page shows all Internet of Things (IoT) cards under your account. The Plan Voucher Management page shows all IoT cards under a specific plan. This means there are two ways to access card management operations. You can choose the one that suits your needs.

SIM card status

The SIM card status can be one of the following:

  • Testable

The IoT card has entered a test period and its current status is Testable.

  • Not in use

  • In use

  • Suspended

  • Deactivated

  • Canceled

Specific status

The specific status can be one of the following:

  • Test period

You must manually request to start the test period. After it starts, the SIM card status changes to Testable. The test period lasts for three months and includes 6 MB of data. It is valid for three months from the date of your order. After the test period ends or the test data is used up, the card enters the silent period.

  • Silent period

This is the default status of the card after purchase. The silent period lasts for six months from the date of your order. If you requested a test period, the silent period begins after the test period ends or the test data is used up. If the card is not manually activated during the silent period, it will be forcibly activated on the first day of the month after the six-month period ends. Its status will then change to In use.

    Note

For a card that is forcibly activated after the silent period, the corresponding monthly plan fee will be deducted even if the card is not inserted into a device and does not generate any traffic.

  • In use

    Note

If you selected individual identity verification when purchasing the IoT card, you must complete the carrier's individual identity verification process before the card can be used. The card also enters the In use status if it is forcibly activated after the silent period. After you receive the IoT card, complete the individual user verification before the card is forcibly activated.

  • Partially in use

For virtual carrier cards, also known as smart cards, one card supports network channels from multiple carriers. These carriers act as sub-cards for the smart card. If the sub-cards have different usage statuses, the main card's status is Partially in use.

  • Manually suspended

  • Suspended (device change)

An IoT card is bound to a device. The binding occurs when the card is first inserted into a device, powered on, and generates traffic. If you move the card to a different device, the card will be locked, and its status will change to Suspended (device change). You can resume the card by performing a re-binding operation.

  • Suspended (ID verification)

For an IoT card that requires individual identity verification, the status is Suspended (ID verification) until the verification is complete. The card is automatically resumed after you complete the identity verification.

  • Suspended (abnormal)

The carrier's control system triggers the Suspended (abnormal) status. You cannot resume the card yourself. Contact the carrier for assistance.

  • Suspended (credit control)

When the plan's data is used up, the card's status changes to Suspended (credit control). You can resume the card by topping it up.

  • Suspended (usage limit)

When the card's monthly traffic reaches the configured suspension threshold, its status changes to Suspended (usage limit). You can resume the card manually or wait for it to be automatically resumed next month.

  • Deactivated

  • Canceled

Note

For more information about specific statuses, see Card status management.

Cumulative traffic in cycle

The data used within the plan cycle. By default, this is the usage up to 24:00:00 of the previous day.

Tag

Tags are used to classify IoT cards to help you manage them.

First, add tags on the page. Then, on this page, click Add in the Tag column to attach a tag to an IoT card.

Note
  • You can attach a maximum of 3 tags to each IoT card.

  • To perform batch operations, you can attach tags to multiple IoT cards on the page. For more information, see Set tags in batches.

Remarks

You can add remarks to an IoT card.

Top-up

Top-up is only available for IoT cards with single-card plans and same-tier pool plans. The concept of top-up does not apply to pooled data plans. If the data in a pooled data plan is used up, you can add more cards to the pool or expand the pool size.

  1. On the SIM Card Management > Card Management page, select the IoT card that you want to top up.

  2. Click the More actions icon in the Actions column and then click Recharge.

  3. In the top-up panel, configure the top-up type.

    Description

    Top-up type

    • Renew plan

    • Purchase add-on package: If your plan's data is about to run out, you can purchase an add-on package to avoid service suspension or overage charges. The add-on package takes effect immediately after purchase. It shares the same expiration date as your current plan and becomes invalid upon expiration.

      Note

Only single-card plans support purchasing add-on packages. For same-tier pool plans, the only top-up type is Renew plan. If a same-tier pool plan is low on data, you can add cards to expand the pool.

    Renewal period

This parameter is available when Top-up type is set to Renew plan.

Select a renewal period. For example, if you select 3, you purchase a 3-month plan. The purchased plans take effect consecutively until the last one expires, at which point the service is deactivated.

    Add-on package data tier

This parameter is available when Top-up type is set to Purchase add-on package.

Select a data tier for the add-on package.

    Quantity

This parameter is available when Top-up type is set to Purchase add-on package.

Select the number of add-on packages to purchase.

  4. Click Create Order and Pay and then complete the payment.

Filter

You can filter the displayed IoT cards. Click Advanced Search on the right side of the page, select the filter fields, and then click Search.

  • Operation Records: You can view the operation records for the card, such as the account creation time and activation time.

A smart card, which is a card from a virtual carrier, supports network channels from multiple carriers. These carriers act as sub-cards for the smart card.

Click the icon in the Operation column and select Sub-card Details to view detailed information about the sub-cards.

Export card details

  1. On the SIM Card Management > Card Management page, click the Export icon on the right to export card details.

  2. In the dialog box that appears, select the Traffic Time Range and specify Whether to export daily usage.

  3. Set the file name.

You can specify a custom file name for the exported file for easy identification. If you do not specify a custom name, the file is exported with a default system-generated name.

  4. In the navigation pane on the left, click Exported Files. On the Exported Files page, find the corresponding file and click Download in the rightmost column to download the file.

    Note

You can start the export process from the Card Management page, but you must download the exported document from the Exported Files page.

Rebinding and reuse

An IoT card is bound to a device. This binding occurs when the card is first inserted into a device, powered on, and generates traffic. If you move the card to a different device, the card is locked, and its status changes to Suspended (device change).

You can resume a card that was suspended due to a device change as follows:

Click the icon in the Operation column, select Resume Use, and then click OK in the dialog box that appears.

Forced activation

There are two types of forced activation:

  • System-forced activation: The system forcibly activates a card after its silent period ends.

  • Manual forced activation: You can manually force the activation of an inactive card in a same-tier pool plan to expand the data pool. This topic describes this type of activation.

Click the icon in the Operation column, select Force Activate, and then click OK in the dialog box that appears.

Cancel an account

You can request to cancel an IoT card if its status is Stopped or Manually Deactivated. Click the More icon in the Actions column, select Request Account Cancellation, and then click OK in the dialog box that appears.

Important

  • The cancellation operation is irreversible. You cannot recover a canceled account. Proceed with caution.

  • The system automatically cancels the accounts of cards that have been deactivated for more than three calendar months.

  • Due to carrier system processing delays at the end of the month, you should submit cancellation requests before the 20th of each month. This ensures that the process is completed within the current month and helps you avoid charges for the next month.
