Test environment

This page describes the environment used to benchmark read and write performance between open source self-managed Apache Solr (Community Edition 7.7.3) and LindormSearch of ApsaraDB for Lindorm (Lindorm) in basic scenarios. The benchmark tool was developed by Alibaba Cloud. To get the tool, join the Lindorm DingTalk group or submit a ticket.
Results reflect performance in the specific environment below. Actual performance varies depending on your workload and infrastructure.
Environment configuration
All tests ran in Zone G of the China (Shanghai) region inside a virtual private cloud (VPC), with the client and server in the same zone to eliminate cross-zone network latency.
