Endpoint network types

Network type	Description
VPC	A virtual private cloud (VPC) is a cloud-based private network dedicated for your use. VPCs are logically isolated from each other at Layer 2 to ensure high security and high performance. When Lindorm-cli is deployed on an Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance, you can connect to a Lindorm instance over a VPC to ensure high security and reduce network latency.
Internet	If you want to connect an on-premises device to a Lindorm instance, you can apply for a public endpoint for the Lindorm instance. You are not charged for traffic that is generated when you connect to the Lindorm instance over the Internet. The connection may be exposed to security risks. We recommend that you use a VPC to ensure higher security.

Procedure

Log on to the Lindorm console.
In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where the instance is deployed.
On the Instances page, click the ID of the target instance or click View Instance Details in the Actions column for the instance.
In the left-side navigation pane, clickDatabase Connections.
Switch to the desired engine's tab to view its endpoints.
Note
If you need to connect to an engine over the public network, click Enable Public Endpoint in the upper-right corner of the engine's tab.

View the endpoints of LindormTable

Before you view the endpoints for LindormTable, make sure that you have enabled LindormTable. If you need to use a public endpoint to connect to LindormTable, click Enable Public Endpoint in the upper-right corner of the Wide Table Engine tab on the Database Connections page. The endpoints for different types of LindormTable are listed in the following table:

View the endpoints of LindormTSDB

Before you view the endpoint for LindormTSDB, make sure that LindormTSDB is enabled. If you need to use a public endpoint to connect to the time series engine, click Enable Public Endpoint in the upper-right corner of the Time Series Engine tab on the Database Connections page. The following table lists the endpoints for different types of time series engines.

View the endpoints of LindormSearch

Before you view the endpoints of the Lindorm search engine (LindormSearch), make sure that LindormSearch is activated for the Lindorm instance.

LindormSearch endpoint for Elasticsearch

If you need to use a public endpoint to connect to LindormSearch, click Enable Public Endpoint in the upper-right corner of the Search Engine tab on the Database Connections page.

LindormDFS provides client connection configurations. Click Generate Configuration Items to view the configurations.

View the endpoints of LDPS

Before you view the endpoint of the compute engine, make sure you have enabled Lindorm Compute. If you need to use a public endpoint to connect to the compute engine, click Enable Public Endpoint in the upper-right corner of the Compute Engine tab on the Database Connections page. The following table lists the endpoints for different types of compute engines:

View the endpoints of the Lindorm streaming engine

Before you view the endpoint of the stream engine, make sure that you have enabled Lindorm Stream. If you need to use a public endpoint to connect to the stream engine, go to the Database Connections page, select the Stream Engine tab, and in the upper-right corner, click Enable Public Endpoint. The endpoints for different types of stream engines are as follows:

Lindorm Columnar endpoints

Before viewing the endpoint for Lindorm Stream, ensure that Lindorm Stream is enabled. If you need to use a public endpoint to connect to Lindorm Stream, click Enable Public Endpoint in the upper-right corner of the Columnar Storage Engine tab in Database Connections.
