What are Credits

Credits measure the compute resources consumed when a Qoder CN product calls an AI model. In Qoder CN IDE, for example, the following operations consume Credits:

  • Editor

    • Inline Chat

    • Ask mode

    • Agent mode

  • Quest

    • Agent mode

    • Experts mode

  • Knowledge Engine

    • RepoWiki

    • Knowledge card

The actual consumption depends on the task's complexity and the model used.

Credits sharing rules for the all-in-one subscription

Starting June 20, 2026, Credits from a Qoder CN (all-in-one) subscription are shared across the following products:

  • Personal Community / Personal Pro: Credits can be shared and consumed across Qoder CN IDE, JetBrains plugin, QoderWork CN, Qoder CN CLI, and Qoder CN Mobile.

  • Enterprise Teams / Enterprise VPC: Credits can currently be shared and consumed between QoderWork CN and Qoder CN CLI. Support for Qoder CN IDE and the JetBrains plugin will be available soon.

Deduction rule

To maximize their value, the system first uses Credits that are expiring soonest.

Failed requests

Credits are deducted only for successful model calls.

Sign in to the Qoder CN website, click your avatar in the top-right corner, and go to Settings > Usage to view your current plan information and the available balance and usage details for each type of Credits:

  • Plan Credits: Credits included in your plan. They are valid within the subscription cycle and expire at the end of the period.

  • Add-on Credits (credit pack): Obtained through purchases or promotional events. For personal use only.

  • Consumption priority: Credits expiring soonest are consumed first. When expiration times are the same, Plan Credits are deducted before Add-on Credits.

  • Expiration time: Credits from different sources expire at different times. Check the Credits log for details. The actual expiration date can be shortened by actions such as plan upgrades. For more information, see the "Credits log" section below.

Credits log

The Credits log details every Credit acquisition, including the reason, amount, effective date, and expiration date. Common acquisition types include:

The expiration date in the log is the initial estimate at the time of issuance. Actions such as upgrading your plan may shorten the actual expiration date. You can confirm this by checking your plan change records.

The Credits log records acquisition information only. To view your current available balance, go to the Credits card on the Usage page.
