Ubiquitous network

A ubiquitous network is a shared network that provides access through deployed network nodes. This enables ecosystem users to connect to the network faster. This topic describes how to enable a ubiquitous network.

Background information

  • Ubiquitous credential: The permission required to join a ubiquitous network.

  • Dedicated credential: A permission that grants access only to user-created networks.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Link WAN console.

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose .

  3. On the page, click the button next to Network Status to enable the sharing feature.

  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose .

  5. On the Credential Checklist page, click the Ubiquitous tab.

  6. On the Ubiquitous tab, click Request Ubiquitous Credential and configure the credential information in the dialog box that appears.

    Parameter

    Description

    Credential Name

    The name can contain Chinese characters, letters, digits, and underscores (_). It must be 4 to 30 characters in length. A Chinese character is counted as two characters.

    Frequency Band

    The following frequency bands are supported:

    • CN470 intra-frequency

    • CN470 inter-frequency

    • AS923 intra-frequency

    Class

    Class A, Class B, Class C, and D2D are supported.

    RxDelay

    This parameter is available only when you select Class A.

    It specifies the delay for the receive window after an uplink.

    Valid values: 1 s to 15 s. Default value: 1 s.

    Data Rate (DR)

    This parameter is available only when you select Class B.

    Valid values: 0 to 5.

  7. Click Confirm to add the credential.

    Note

    You can add only one ubiquitous credential.
