Enable the IPv6 feature to allow clients to access live streams over IPv6.
Background
ApsaraVideo Live nodes in the Chinese mainland support IPv6 requests. You can enable the IPv6 feature in your domain settings.
After you enable the IPv6 feature, clients in an IPv6 network environment can access the nearest ApsaraVideo Live node over IPv6 if the node supports it. If the nearest ApsaraVideo Live node does not support IPv6, clients can still access it over IPv4.
Currently, the IPv6 feature is not available for nodes in regions outside the Chinese mainland, including China (Hong Kong), China (Macao), and China (Taiwan).
Procedure
- Log on to the ApsaraVideo Live console.
In the left navigation pane, click Domain Names. The Domain Management page appears.
Find the streaming domain that you want to configure and click Domain Settings in the Actions column.

On the IPv6 tab, turn on the IPv6 Setting switch.
Once enabled, clients can access ApsaraVideo Live over IPv6. ApsaraVideo Live also forwards the IPv6 client IP address to your origin server.
