After you enable IPv6, clients in IPv6 environments can access live streams over IPv6.
Background
-
ApsaraVideo Live points of presence (POPs) in the Chinese mainland support IPv6 requests. You can enable IPv6 in your domain settings.
-
After IPv6 is enabled, if a client is in an IPv6 environment and the nearest POP supports IPv6, the client connects to ApsaraVideo Live over IPv6. Otherwise, the client connects over IPv4.
-
POPs outside the Chinese mainland, including those in China (Hong Kong), China (Macao), and China (Taiwan), do not support IPv6.
Procedure
- Log on to the ApsaraVideo Live console.
In the left navigation pane, click Domain Names. The Domain Management page appears.
Find the ingest domain that you want to configure and click Domain Settings in the Actions column.

-
Navigate to .
-
Click the IPv6 tab, and then enable IPv6 Setting.
After IPv6 is enabled, ApsaraVideo Live accepts client requests over IPv6 and forwards the IPv6 client IP address to your origin server.
