Product delisting
Alibaba Cloud Marketplace does not currently support self-service product delisting. If you are a service provider and need to delist a product, you must submit a request by email to Alibaba Cloud Marketplace. This topic describes how to request a product delisting.
Before delisting
Once a product is delisted, it cannot be relisted. Delisting may also affect your customers. Therefore, submit delisting requests with caution. If you only want to modify product information, you can hide the product. After you make the changes, you can unhide the product to resume sales. For more information, see Hide a product or product specification.
Procedure
Complete the Alibaba Cloud Marketplace Product Delisting Request Form, affix your company's official seal, and scan the form.
Send an email to request the product delisting.
Email body:
The ID of the product to be delisted, such as cmapi****313.
The URL of the product to be delisted.
The reason for delisting.
The number of customers currently using the product.
The email includes the following attachments:
A scanned copy of the completed Product Delisting Request Form.
Recipient:
The service provider sends an email to yscsh@list.alibaba-inc.com.
Effects of product delisting
Image products: Delisting does not affect existing customers. However, you can no longer charge them for using the image.
Application software products
One-time purchase products: Existing customers can continue to use the product after it is delisted.
Subscription-based products: After a product is delisted, existing customers cannot renew their subscriptions. If a customer needs to renew their subscription, you must contact them to provide a solution.
Downloadable and service products: Delisting does not affect existing customers.
API products: Delisting may affect existing customers. You must contact the operations team for the relevant category to discuss how to proceed.
