This topic describes how to renew subscription instances using Resource Renewal.
After a subscription instance expires, it enters the Expired state. At this point, the subscription project associated with the instance is disabled and must be renewed to reactivate.
If an expired instance is not renewed within the specified period or renewal fails, the associated project resources are released and cannot be recovered.
After successful renewal, all frozen projects are restored.
Manual Renewal

Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console using your Alibaba Cloud account.
In the navigation pane on the left of the Expenses and Costs page, click Subscription Orders > Resource Renewal.
On the Manual Renewal tab, click Renew next to the target instance.
On the Renew page, select the subscription duration, check the Terms of Service, and then click Buy Now.
Auto-Renewal
To avoid manually renewing each time, you can enable auto-renewal. For details about renewal rules, see Enable auto-renewal.
Go to the Expenses and Costs Resource Renewal page.
On the Manual Renewal tab, click Enable Auto-renewal next to the target instance.
In the Enable Auto-renewal dialog box, set the auto-renewal cycle, and then click Enable Auto-renewal.
On the Auto-Renewal tab, view information about instances with auto-renewal enabled.
To modify or disable auto-renewal, click Actions for the target instance and select Modify Auto-renewal Settings or Nonrenewal. You can also click
> Enable Manual Renewal to switch back to manual renewal.
