In the Moflow low-code development platform, an end user is a person who accesses and uses Moflow runtime applications. End user access is controlled by permission groups. Space members configure these groups to manage end user access to different environments and applications. This document describes the access flow for end users and provides important notes.
User list
The user list displays information about all users who have accessed a Moflow runtime application. This information helps administrators understand and manage end users.
The user list is organized by the selected identity source tab. The platform provides two default identity sources: the Alibaba Cloud default identity source and the test user identity source.
User information for the Alibaba Cloud default identity source includes:
Username
ID / Alibaba Cloud account ID
Email
Permission group
Last access time
User information for the test user identity source includes:
Username
Nickname
Permission group
Last access time
Access flow
Alibaba Cloud default identity source
End users and space members can log on to Moflow runtime applications using their Alibaba Cloud accounts. The process is as follows:
Access the URL of the Moflow runtime application in a browser.
On the Moflow logon page, select the option to log on with an Alibaba Cloud account. You are then redirected to the Alibaba Cloud logon page.
On the Alibaba Cloud logon page, enter your Alibaba Cloud account and password.
After you successfully log on, you are automatically redirected to the Moflow runtime application. You can then start using the application.
For users who log on with the Alibaba Cloud default identity source, only the space owner and their RAM users can access the development environment.
Automatic user registration
When an end user logs on to a Moflow runtime application for the first time, their account information is automatically added to the user list. An administrator does not need to manually invite them. This process simplifies user management and ensures that all users who access the application appear in the list.
Test user identity source
Space members can create test users to access Moflow runtime applications. The process is as follows:
Add a test user.
Open the URL of the Moflow runtime application in a browser.
On the Moflow logon page, select the option to log on with a test account. Then, enter the username and password.
After you successfully log on, you are automatically redirected to the Moflow runtime application. You can then start using the application.
Application access control
End user access is governed by rules in permission groups. Space members configure these permission groups to manage end user access to different environments and applications.
Go to the Edit Permission Group page and switch to the Application Access Permissions tab. A list of all applications in the space is displayed. You can configure access by selecting specific applications or all applications. You can also configure access to specific pages or all pages within an application.
No permission prompt
If an end user does not have permission to access an application, a "no permission" prompt appears when they try to open it.
For more information about access control settings, see Permission Group Management.
