Use Alibaba Cloud Model Studio models in Chatbox.

Quick Start

1. 1

   Get an API key

   Get the API key for your billing plan:

   • Token Plan Personal Edition: Create or view API Key
   • Token Plan Team Edition: Assign a seat and get the API Key
   • Pay-as-you-go: Model Studio API key
   • Coding Plan: Coding Plan API key

   Configure the model

   In Chatbox, click Settings at the bottom left, click Model Provider, and click Add at the bottom. Enter a Name, set API Mode to OpenAI API Compatible, and click Add. Configure the following fields for your billing plan:

   Token Plan

   Parameter	Value
   API host	https://token-plan.cn-beijing.maas.aliyuncs.com/compatible-mode/v1
   API key	Token Plan Personal Edition or Team Edition API key
   Model	Enter a text generation model supported by Personal Edition or Team Edition

   Pay-as-you-go

   Pay-as-you-go is billed by actual usage. Replace {WorkspaceId} with your Workspace ID. The following example uses China North 2 (Beijing).

   API key	Model Studio API key
   Model	qwen3.8-max or qwen3.8-flash; for available models, see models supported by the OpenAI-compatible API

   Coding Plan

   API host	https://coding.dashscope.aliyuncs.com/v1
   API key	Coding Plan API key
   Model	qwen3.7-plus; for available models, see models supported by Coding Plan

   Leave the API path empty.

3. 3

   Verify

   Click New, enter the model from the table in Model ID, and save. Select the model in the chat and send "Hello". A normal response confirms the configuration.
