Configure and use hotword groups

Use hotword groups in conversation analysis scenarios to improve the accuracy of speech transcription. This guide explains how to configure and use them.

Hotword configuration

Hotword groups improve the accuracy of speech transcription in offline or real-time conversation analysis scenarios.

1. Manage hotword groups

• To access the hotword group management page:

  • Path 1: Go to Tongyi Xiaomi CCAI-Conversation Analysis AIO and click My Applications. Then, click the Hotword Group Management button.

  • Path 2: Go to the configuration page of a specific application and click Select Hotword Group to add a hotword group.

    NoteCurrently, hotword groups are supported in applications that you create manually. For applications created by using an agent, you must switch to the professional build mode to find and configure hotword groups.

    The Select Hotword Group sidebar appears. It displays a tip: "Hotword groups can improve the accuracy of speech transcription and are effective only for conversation analysis." In the sidebar, you can search for an existing hotword group or click New Hotword Group. To associate a group with your application, select its checkbox from the list.

• On the hotword group management page, click New Hotword Group. In the dialog box that appears, enter a name for the hotword group and use the Add Hotword button to add hotwords individually. After you add the hotwords, click OK to create the group.

  • Hotword Group Name: Maximum of 10 characters.

  • Hotwords: Each hotword group can contain up to 128 hotwords.

    • Hotword: Enter the words that you want the system to recognize more accurately. Important: In the current version, hotwords must consist only of Chinese characters. English letters, numbers, and special characters are not supported. Hotwords with non-Chinese characters are ignored.
    • Weight: An integer from 1 to 5. Default value: 2. If the effect is not significant, you can increase the weight. However, a high weight can degrade recognition accuracy for other words.

  • Actions: Delete added hotwords.

• Once created, the hotword group appears in the list. To edit or delete it, click the gear icon next to the group name and select Edit or Delete from the drop-down menu.

2. Use hotword groups

You can associate a hotword group with an application in its settings.

1. Select a hotword group: Click the Select Hotword Group button. In the dialog box that appears, click Select next to the desired hotword group to associate it.
2. After associating a group, you can view its status. On the Custom Instruction page, navigate to the Hotword Group section. The associated group appears as a tag, which you can remove by clicking its delete icon. To change the association, click Select Hotword Group.
