To prevent data on a subscription instance from being permanently deleted after it expires, you must renew the instance or enable auto-renewal within 15 days.
Prerequisites
The instance's billing method is subscription.
Background information
After a subscription instance expires, you must renew it within 15 days. Otherwise, the instance is released and its data is permanently deleted. For more information about renewal rules and billing, see Expiration and overdue payments.
Method 1: Renew in the MongoDB console
Log in to the ApsaraDB for MongoDB console.
In the left navigation pane, click Replica Set Instances, Sharded Cluster Instances, or Serverless Instances based on the instance type.
In the upper-left corner of the page, select the resource group and region where the instance is located.
Find the target instance and choose in the Actions column.
On the Renew page, select Purchase Duration.
Read the Buy Now and click Buy Now.
On the Pay page, complete the payment.
Method 2: Renew in the Renewal Management console
Log in to the ApsaraDB for MongoDB console.
In the upper-right corner, choose .
On the Renewal Management page, click the Manual tab.
Follow the steps in the appropriate section below.
Renew a single instance
In the Manual list, find the target instance and click Renew in the Operation column.

If the target instance is on the Auto-renewal or Nonrenewal tab, find the target instance and click Enable Manual Renewal in the Operation column. In the Enable Manual Renewal dialog box that appears, click Confirm to switch to manual renewal.
On the Renew page, select a subscription duration.
Read the Buy Now and click Buy Now.
On the Pay page, complete the payment.
Batch renew instances
In the Manual list, select the target instances.
In the lower-left corner of the Manual list, click Batch Renew.
On the Batch Renew page, select a subscription duration for each target instance.
- Note
To apply the same subscription duration to all target instances, click Batch setup to the right of the subscription duration field. In the dialog box that appears, select a subscription duration and click Determine.
Click Payment.
On the Pay page, complete the payment.
