To effectively monitor the usage of OSS resource packages in your Alibaba Cloud account, you can set up threshold alerts and expiration alerts. These alerts notify you when the remaining quota of a resource package drops to a specified percentage or when a package is about to expire. This allows you to promptly renew or upgrade your resource packages, ensuring uninterrupted access to discounts.
Resource package threshold alerts
You can set threshold alerts only for resource packages that use the Total Amount Deduction or Monthly Subscription deduction method. For more information, see deduction method.
Log on to the 费用与成本.

In the navigation pane on the left, choose .

On the Resource Package page, set Resource Dimension to Resource Package.

In the upper-right corner of the Instance Overview tab, click Set Threshold Alert.

In the Set Threshold Alert dialog box, turn on the Threshold Alert switch, set the Proportion, and then click OK.
For example, if you set Proportion to 20%, you receive a threshold alert when the remaining quota of an OSS resource package drops to 20%.
Resource package expiration alerts
Expiration alerts notify you by SMS, email, or internal message when a resource package is about to expire.

Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console.

In the top navigation bar, click the

In the navigation pane on the left, choose .

On the common settings page, find product expiration notification and select a notification method.
By default, Alibaba Cloud sends a notification to the current account's contact when a resource package expires. You can also click Modify to add more contacts.
On the message settings page, the product expiration notification has the internal message and email channels enabled by default.
