You can exchange a purchased OSS Standard LRS storage plan for OSS reserved capacity. This topic describes the exchange operation and rules.
Prerequisites
A Standard LRS storage plan has been purchased and is active.
Limits
You can only exchange a purchased Standard LRS storage plan for OSS reserved capacity. You cannot exchange a purchased OSS reserved capacity for a Standard LRS storage plan.
Operation steps
Log on to the Expenses and Costs console.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose .
On the Resource Plans page, set Resource Dimension to Resource Plan.
In the list of resource plans, click Exchange to the right of the target Standard LRS storage plan.
On the exchange page, select the Region and Reserved Capacity Specification for the OSS reserved capacity.
NoteIf, after you exchange for an OSS reserved capacity, you still want to deduct the Standard LRS capacity fees and ECS snapshot storage fees generated in the region of the original Standard LRS package, you must select the same region as the original Standard LRS package.
Click Buy Now and follow the instructions on the page to complete the exchange.
After the exchange is complete, the original Standard LRS storage plan becomes invalid and the OSS reserved capacity takes effect at 00:00 the next day.
Exchange rules
The exchange uses a refund-and-purchase model to calculate the cost. The payable fee or refund amount is calculated as follows: Payable Fee/Refund Amount = Price of the target configuration - Remaining value of the original configuration.
