This topic describes how to create a Lingjun cluster.
Step 1: Create cluster group
Log on to the Intelligent Computing Lingjun console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Resources & Nodes > Clusters.
Click Create Cluster to open the Create Managed Cloud Cluster page.
Click the Basic Lingjun Cluster Service card.
In the Cluster Information section, enter information such as Cluster Name, Cluster ID, Logon Password, and Resource Group.
Click Create Group to create a node group.
In the Create Group dialog box, specify the group name and information about the nodes that belong to the group such as the node model and image based on your plan.
Click Select Node Instance next to Node Instance to select the nodes to be added to the group.
Click Save and Proceed to Network Configuration to open the Network Settings wizard.
Step 2: Configure cluster network
Configure the cluster CIDR block.
The Lingjun cluster uses the cluster CIDR block to assign IP addresses to its nodes. You can specify a valid private CIDR block.
The Cluster Subnet is a subnet of the cluster CIDR block. For more information about Lingjun CIDR blocks and subnets, see Manage Lingjun CIDR blocks.
NotePlan your cluster CIDR block. Make sure that it does not conflict with your existing VPC CIDR blocks or on-premises IDC CIDR blocks.
The number of available IP addresses in the cluster CIDR block determines the maximum number of nodes that can be deployed in the cluster. You must reserve a sufficiently large CIDR block (preferably with a prefix length of less than 22) to allow for future cluster scaling.
Click Authorize Now to create the AliyunServiceRoleForEfloVcc service-linked role, which is required for certain operations. For more information, see Service-linked role for Lingjun connection.
Select your purchased Lingjun connection instance from the Instance ID drop-down list, and enter the required information in the Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN) text box.
ImportantFor some instance types (gu7ef, gu7xf, and some gu8xf) in the Ulanqab region, you must configure a Lingjun connection and Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN). This is not required for other regions or instance types.
You must create a transit router in CEN. The transit router must be in the same region as the Lingjun nodes. For more information, see Transit router instances.
In the Network Information Monitoring section, configure a VPC and a vSwitch.
Create a new VPC or connect an existing one to the transit router instance. For more information, see Activate and configure other cloud services. Make sure the VPC has a vSwitch with at least one available IP address. Lingjun uses this vSwitch to monitor the connectivity of the Lingjun connection.
ImportantOnly VPCs that are connected to the selected transit router appear in the VPC drop-down list.
The cluster CIDR block, the internet CIDR block, and the monitoring VPC's CIDR block must not overlap. These CIDR blocks also must not overlap with any other connected networks, such as your other VPCs or on-premises IDC CIDR blocks.
Click the
icon next to the VPC and vSwitch drop-down lists to select the corresponding VPC and vSwitch.
Click Save and Proceed to Basic Software Instance Parameters.
Step 3: Confirm cluster configuration
Verify that the configuration is correct, and then click Submit Configuration in the lower-left corner to create the cluster.
