After you create an annotation task, follow the task process to label, review, or accept each task package. This process yields annotated data for model training. This topic describes how to process an annotation task. The procedure for other types of annotation tasks is similar.

Prerequisites

An administrator has created an annotation task. For more information, see Create an annotation task.

Limitations

Only an administrator or an annotation administrator can perform annotation operations. If you do not have the required permissions, contact an administrator to assign the annotation administrator role to your account. For more information, see Manage workspace members.

Procedure

This topic uses an image annotation task that follows a Labeling - Checking - Acceptance task process as an example. Perform the labeling, review, or acceptance actions required by your specific task process.

  1. Go to Intelligent Annotation (iTAG).

    1. Log on to the PAI console.

    2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Workspaces. On the Workspace List page, click the name of the workspace that you want to open.

    3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Preparation > iTAG.

  2. Click Go to the iTAG Page to open the Labeling Tasks > Unfinished Task page.

  3. On the Label Task tab, claim an annotation task.

In the Assignment Available section, click Grab the Order immediately. Alternatively, in the Claimed Task Packages section, click Label. This opens the labeling page, where you can label, skip, or release the task.

  4. On the Quality Inspection Task tab, review an annotation task.

In the Assignment Available area, click Check, or in the Claimed Task Packages area, click Check to go to the task quality inspection page, where you can reject, submit, or release the task.

  5. On the Acceptance Task tab, accept an annotation task.

In the Assignment Available area, click Accept, or in the Claimed Task Packages area, click Acceptance. Then, in the dialog box that appears, configure the acceptance settings and click Start acceptance. You are then redirected to the task acceptance page, where you can reject or submit the task.
