You can use these plans to offset the computing resources consumed by Serverless clusters or by the Serverless feature of provisioned clusters. For example, in the Chinese mainland region, if all Serverless resources are fully offset by a Serverless compute plan, you pay 95% of the original price.
You receive a 50% discount when you purchase either a PolarDB Serverless cluster or a Serverless compute plan.
Serverless compute plan pricing and offset rules
The price of Serverless compute packages is unified at 0.38 CNY/PCU/hour across all regions (China mainland, Hong Kong China, and overseas regions), which is 95% of the original China mainland Serverless price. However, the offset factors differ by region. For example, for a Serverless compute package with a capacity of 50 CU*H, the offset capacity varies across regions.
