PolarDB clusters support automatic and manual backups. You can adjust the backup policy based on your business requirements.
View backups

Log on to the PolarDB console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters. In the upper-left corner, select the region where the cluster resides. Find the cluster.

In the left-side navigation pane, select to view backups.
Modify the automatic backup policy

Log on to the PolarDB console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters. In the upper-left corner, select the region where the cluster resides. Find the cluster.

In the left-side navigation pane, select .

On the Backup Policy Settings tab, click Modify.

In the Backup Policy Settings dialog box, configure the Data Backup, Log Backup, and General settings. For more information, see Configure backup policies.

Click OK.
Create a manual backup

Log on to the PolarDB console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters. In the upper-left corner, select the region where the cluster resides. Find the cluster.

In the left-side navigation pane, select .

On the Data Backups tab, click Create Backup.

In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
Delete backups

Only manual backup sets can be deleted.

Automatic backup sets cannot be manually deleted. To modify the retention period, Configure backup policy settings.
