Overdue payments
This topic describes overdue payments for the pay-as-you-go billing method and the effects of an expired resource plan.
Pay-as-you-go
Determining an overdue payment status
For the pay-as-you-go billing method, an overdue payment occurs if your account balance is insufficient for a deduction and you do not add funds on the same day.
Overdue payment notifications
Within one hour of an overdue payment, Performance Testing Service (PTS) sends you a notification by email, text message, or internal message. After you receive the notification, renew your service promptly.
Effects of an overdue payment
If you renew within one hour of the overdue payment, your PTS service is not affected.
If your payment is overdue for more than one hour, PTS pauses your service. You must pay all overdue bills to resume the service.
NoteIf the Performance Testing service is paused, your data is retained. The service automatically resumes after you pay the overdue amount.
Effects of an expired resource plan
If you exhaust the Virtual User Minute (VUM) allowance in your resource plan before it expires, the system automatically switches to the pay-as-you-go billing method. For information about the effects of an overdue payment, see the Pay-as-you-go section. For more information about pay-as-you-go billing, see Pay-as-you-go (post-paid).
After a resource plan expires, the system automatically releases any unused VUMs. Before the resource plan expires, PTS sends you an expiration notification by email, text message, or internal message. Review these notifications promptly.
Refunds are not available for unused resources in an expired resource plan.
