The Global Search feature in the Quick BI top navigation bar lets you quickly locate works, metric monitoring, and workspaces.
Intelligent search is available only in the Premium and Professional Editions.

Intelligent search delivers a search-as-you-type experience that helps you find data faster.

Direct access: Quickly locates core content, including works (dashboards, BI portals, data dashboards, workbooks, ad hoc analysis, data entry, Downloads, and card dashboards), metric monitoring, and workspaces. Click any result to open the target page directly.

Instant results: Enter keywords in the search box from any module, and the system returns matching results in real time.

Granular results: Results can be as granular as the component level, meeting fine-grained search requirements.
Global search
Scenarios
If you know what you are looking for, such as a dashboard or workspace name, enter keywords directly in the global search box in the top navigation bar. The search box is always available across all modules and returns results instantly.
Procedure

Click the Global Search box in the top navigation bar of Quick BI.

Open the search interface.

If this is your first search and you have no search history, the interface is empty.

If you have searched before, your Search History is displayed. Items that you have opened from previous searches are also displayed under Recently Opened.
Note-
Click a keyword in Search History to start a new search.

Click an item in Recently Opened to open that work.

You can Clear your search history. After you clear it, the search history is not displayed on your next search, but your recently opened items are retained.

In the search interface, enter keywords and click Search to go to the search results page.

Search results
The search results page groups results into Works, Metric Monitoring, and Workspaces tabs.

Works results page

You can view the search results for all works.

You can sort the search results.
By default, results are sorted by recommendation. You can also sort them by Creation Time, by Last Edited Time, or by Views.

You can filter the search results.
You can filter by Workspace, work Type, Creator, Creation Time, and Permission Scope.

After you apply filters, click Reset to clear the filters and restore the default results.

Click the work name or the
icon to the right of the name to go to the preview page for that work.
If you do not have access permissions for the work, click the
icon to Request Permission.

Click the icon to the right of the work name to go to the edit page for the work.

Metric Monitoring results page

Click the Metric Monitoring tab to view metric monitoring results.

You can sort the search results.
You can sort results by Update Time, by Creation Time, by Rule Name, or by Alert Time.

You can filter the search results.
You can filter by Workspace, Detection Epoch, Data Status, Message Push, and Owner.

After you apply filters, click Reset to clear the filters and restore the default results.

You can Follow a metric (①), view its Source Report (②), View SQL (③), and View Metric Details (④).

Workspace results page

Click the Workspace tab to view workspace results.

You can filter by owner.

If you have the required permissions for a workspace, click Open Workspace Homepage.

Search configuration
Organization administrators can configure search settings under Settings > Search Configuration.

The search scope for works can be set to Search only works in Category Management or Search all works globally.

The display scope for works can be set to Display only works for which you have permissions or Display all works (including those for which you do not have permissions).
