The Query Control filters data based on numeric fields. This topic describes how to configure one.
Prerequisites
A dashboard that contains a chart with a numeric field. For more information, see Line Chart.
An empty Query Control on the dashboard. For more information, see Create a Query Control.
Procedure
Select the dashboard you created.

Click Add General Control. In the Set Query Conditions dialog, configure the following settings.

Set the query condition name to Quantity Query.
Select the associated chart, Line Chart, and the associated field, Order Quantity.
Configure the Query Condition Settings.

If the associated field is numeric, you can select Value Input Box or Text Input Box.

Available methods include Summation, Average, Count, Distinct Count, Maximum, Minimum, Population Standard Deviation, Sample Standard Deviation, Population Variance, and Sample Variance.

Conditional Form
Supports Single Condition, OR, and AND. Single Condition lets you set only one filter condition, as shown below.

Numeric Type
The numeric type can be Normal or Percentage. The default is Normal.
Normal: Standard numeric types, such as integers and decimals.

Percentage: Select this type if the data in the associated field is in a percentage format. You can then set a default value as a percentage.

Set the default filter value.

Lock Filter Condition
Select this option to prevent changes to the filter condition type on the preview page.

Lock Filter Condition enabled.
Click OK.
In the Query Control, set the filter conditions and click Query. The chart data updates accordingly.
