Set up SSL encryption

To improve connection security, you can enable Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption and install an SSL CA certificate on your application services. SSL encrypts network connections at the transport layer to improve the security and integrity of communication data. However, enabling encryption increases the network connection response time.
