Instance specification fees
When you create an instance, you are charged based on its specifications and subscription duration. Two billing methods are supported:Pay-as-you-go instances are recommended to be paired with resource packages，to reduce costs。

Instance specification fees include non-adjustable disk fees. Disks store system logs, temporary backup files, and append-only files (AOFs).

Backup fees
ApsaraDB for Tair（Redis OSS-compatible Redis）provides a free backup storage quota for each instance，when backup files exceed the free quota，the excess portion is charged on a pay-as-you-go basis。
Free quota = default memory size of the instance specification（TairPersistent Memory-optimizedbased on disk storage capacity）
When backup files exceed the free quota, the excess is charged on a pay-as-you-go basis at approximately CNY 0.0075 per GB per day. Prices vary slightly by region; the actual unit price is determined by your bill.
Audit log storage and bandwidth upgrade fees
Audit log storage and bandwidth upgrade fees apply only when you enable these features. Both are billed on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Audit log storage
Audit logs are billed hourly based on storage usage. For example, storing 100 GB of audit logs for 1 hour in the China (Hangzhou) region costs USD 0.2 (100 GB × USD 0.002 per GB-hour).0.8yuan0.014（yuan）* 10（MB）= 0.14yuan
Bandwidth upgrade
Extra bandwidth is billed hourly based on the amount purchased. For example, purchasing an extra 10 Mbit/s for an instance in the China (Hangzhou) region costs USD 0.02 per hour (10 MB × USD 0.0020 per MB-hour).

FAQ
Will I be charged for network traffic?
No. Traffic within the default instance bandwidth is free, including data transfer between Elastic Compute Service (ECS) and Tair within a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). Public IP traffic is also free. If your workload exceeds the default bandwidth, purchase a bandwidth upgrade to increase the limit.
