When you create a Tair (Redis OSS-compatible) instance, charges are incurred based on the instance specifications you select. Two optional add-ons — audit log storage and bandwidth upgrades — incur additional hourly fees only when enabled.

Backup fees
Tair (Redis OSS-compatible) provides a free backup storage quota for each instance. When backup files exceed the free quota, the excess is charged on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Free quota = default memory size of the instance specification (TairPersistent memory-optimized based on disk storage capacity)
When backup files exceed the free quota, the excess is charged at approximately CNY 0.0075 per GB per day. Prices vary slightly by region; the actual unit price is determined by your bill.
Audit log storage and bandwidth upgrade fees
Audit log storage is billed hourly based on the storage space occupied. For example, if an instance in the China (Hangzhou) region uses 100 GB of storage, the hourly fee is CNY 0.8.
Bandwidth upgrades are billed hourly based on the upgraded bandwidth. For example, if an instance in the China (Hangzhou) region is manually upgraded by 10 MB/s, the hourly fee is CNY 0.014 × 10 MB = CNY 0.14.

FAQ
Q: Will I be charged for network traffic?
A: No. Traffic within the default instance bandwidth is free. When you use a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), data transfer between Elastic Compute Service (ECS) and Tair is free. If you apply for a public endpoint, the public network traffic is also free. However, if the instance bandwidth becomes a bottleneck and you need more traffic, you can purchase a bandwidth upgrade to increase the limit.
