If you need to use service-based robots on a large scale, see Manage service-based robots in batches.

Log in to the client (public cloud)

Important

This section describes how to log on to on-premises robot and editor clients.

Note

By default, the client connects to the public cloud RPA server after installation. This section describes how to log on.

To connect to an on-premises RPA server, refer to the relevant documentation.

Prerequisites

  • You must use an account from Member Management that has an associated robot or editor license.

  • You can obtain a robot or editor license in one of the following ways:

    • If you are a first-time user, you can get a one-month trial license through our free trial. This includes one Advanced Edition robot license and one Professional Edition editor license.

    • To purchase licenses of different specifications, see Product Billing.

Log in with a dynamic login code

In addition to the account-based logon methods, Alibaba Cloud RPA also provides a dynamic logon code. To use it, obtain the code from the RPA console and use that code to log on to the client.

  1. In the RPA console, obtain the dynamic logon code. You can use "Copy All" to copy all the required logon code information for the client.

  2. Use the dynamic logon code to log on to the client, as shown in the following figure. You can use "Fill in All".

Important
  • A dynamic logon code is valid for 3 minutes and can be used only once. Only one valid code can exist at a time. Therefore, to log on to both the editor and the robot, you must generate two separate codes.

  • Both Alibaba Cloud accounts and sub-accounts can use the dynamic logon code method.
