After you purchase a Smart Access Gateway device, the system creates a Smart Access Gateway instance to manage the device. You can use this instance to view basic information about the device.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Smart Access Gateway console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the target region.
  3. On the SAG page, click the ID of the target Smart Access Gateway instance.
  4. On the instance details page, view the basic information about the Smart Access Gateway instance on the Basic Information tab.
    The Basic Information tab contains two sections: Basic Information and Enhanced Feature.
    • Basic Information: Displays information such as the device type associated with the Smart Access Gateway instance, available upstream bandwidth, and the configured method to synchronize with on-premises routes.
      Parameter Description
      SAG Instance ID The ID of the current Smart Access Gateway instance.
      SAG Instance Name The name of the current Smart Access Gateway instance.

      Click Edit to modify the instance name.

      The name must be 2 to 100 characters. It must start with a letter or a Chinese character, and can contain digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-).

      Description The description of the current Smart Access Gateway instance.

      Click Edit to modify the instance description.

      The description must be 2 to 100 characters and cannot start with http:// or https://.

      WAN Upstream Bandwidth The maximum upstream bandwidth when the Smart Access Gateway device connects to the internet through a WAN port. Unit: Mbps.

      Click Edit to adjust the maximum WAN upstream bandwidth.

      Upstream Bandwidth of Cellular Port The maximum upstream bandwidth when the Smart Access Gateway device connects to the internet over a 4G network. Unit: Mbps.

      Click Edit to adjust the maximum 4G upstream bandwidth.

      Method to Synchronize with On-premises Routes The method that the Smart Access Gateway instance uses to synchronize with on-premises routes. For more information, see method to synchronize with on-premises routes.
      Application Acceleration Bandwidth Plan The application acceleration bandwidth plan instance associated with the current Smart Access Gateway instance.
      Controller Status The status of the Smart Access Gateway instance.
      • Pending Shipment: The Smart Access Gateway device is ordered but not yet shipped.
      • Shipped: The Smart Access Gateway device is shipped and awaits delivery.
      • Not Associated: The Smart Access Gateway device is not associated with a Cloud Connect Network or a virtual border router (VBR).
      • Offline: The Smart Access Gateway device is not connected to Alibaba Cloud.
      • Active: The Smart Access Gateway device is working as expected.
      • Locked (Overdue Payment): The Smart Access Gateway device is suspended due to an overdue payment.
      VPN Status The status of the VPN connection between the Smart Access Gateway device and Alibaba Cloud.
      • Normal: The VPN connection is working as expected.
      • Abnormal: The VPN connection is not working as expected.
      Created At The time when the current Smart Access Gateway instance was created.
      Expires At The time when the current Smart Access Gateway instance expires.
      Device Type The type of Smart Access Gateway device that is associated with the current Smart Access Gateway instance.
      Access Point The access point used by the current Smart Access Gateway device to connect to Alibaba Cloud. For more information, see Change the access point.

      Click Edit to change the access point for the Smart Access Gateway instance.

    • Enhanced Feature: Displays information about features such as the associated QoS policy, access control, and the status of deep packet inspection (DPI).
      Parameter Description
      Deep Packet Inspection Indicates whether the deep packet inspection (DPI) feature is enabled for the current Smart Access Gateway instance.

      You can toggle the switch to enable or disable the DPI feature.

      Note
      QoS Policy The QoS policy instance associated with the current Smart Access Gateway instance. For more information about QoS policies, see What is a QoS policy?.
      Transmission Optimization Indicates whether transmission optimization is enabled for the instance.

      This feature uses forward error correction (FEC) to reduce packet loss and improve data transmission reliability.

      To enable this feature, contact your account manager.

      Flow Log The flow log instance associated with the current Smart Access Gateway instance. For more information, see Flow log overview.
      Access control The access control instance associated with the current Smart Access Gateway instance. For more information, see Access control overview.
