The Terminals page in the Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) client lists all terminals registered to your account. Use it to set a terminal's type, report a terminal as lost, or remove a terminal that is no longer needed.
Terminal types
SASE classifies terminals into two categories:
| Type | Description | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Personal terminal | A device you personally own | Mobile phone, personal PC |
| Enterprise terminal | A device owned by your organization and used for work | Work PC, test device |
Specify the type for a terminal
On the Terminals page of the SASE client, find the terminal and click Settings.
In the Settings dialog box, set the Terminal Type parameter and click OK.
Mark a terminal as lost
If a terminal is lost, mark it as lost from another registered terminal. Your enterprise administrator can also do this on your behalf.
If you mark the terminal as lost, you can no longer connect to your office network from the terminal. Proceed with caution.
On the Terminals page of the SASE client, find the terminal and click Mark as Lost.
In the message that appears, click OK.
If the terminal is later found, contact your enterprise administrator to mark it as found.
Delete a terminal
If you want to replace an enterprise terminal or personal terminal that is about to expire, you can delete the terminal.
Deleting a terminal removes its access to office applications. However, you can register an additional terminal. Proceed with caution.
On the Terminals page of the SASE client, find the terminal and click Delete.
In the message that appears, click OK.
What's next
