When you convert speech to text, you may find that unique terms from your business domain are not recognized accurately. You can use the hotword model feature to improve the recognition accuracy of these terms by adding them to a hotword group. A hotword group takes effect immediately after it is created and requires no training. To use the group, select it during speech-to-text conversion, such as when you create a dataset quality inspection task or upload audio for quality inspection.
Hotword requirements
A hotword can be a person's name, a company name, or a technical term from a specific field, such as the proper name "Wang Xiaoming" (which might be misrecognized as a more common name with the same pronunciation), the legal term "appellee", or the E-commerce term "free shipping". Generally, hotwords should not be too long and should not contain punctuation. After adding hotwords, check the recognition results and make adjustments as needed. The requirements for hotwords are as follows:
Each hotword group can contain up to 500 hotwords. A single hotword cannot exceed 15 Chinese characters or 7 English words. If a hotword contains both Chinese characters and English letters, its total length cannot exceed 15.
Numbers in hotwords must be written out. For example, "58.9" must be written as "fifty-eight point nine".
If a speech recognition model is not used online for 90 consecutive days, the system automatically recycles it. To prevent this, ensure that you use and maintain your models.

Procedure
Create a hotword group
Go to Intelligent Tools and select Hotword Model from Speech Model Training Tools. Click the Create Hotword Group button in the upper-right corner of the list. Note: Each user can create a maximum of 10 hotword groups.
Enter a name for the group and add the hotwords. Click OK in the lower-left corner.
Update and delete a hotword group
To update a hotword group, click Update in the list for the corresponding group.
To delete a hotword group, click Delete in the list for the corresponding group. This action cannot be undone. Proceed with caution.
