What is user management
Each user has an assigned role and specific system permissions that determine which features they can use. In Smart Conversation Analysis, you can go to System Administration > User Management to assign different roles and permissions to users. This helps you efficiently manage user configurations.
Access the feature
Log on to the Smart Conversation Analysis console. In the navigation pane, choose System Administration > User Management.
Create a user
Enter basic information
Click Add User and enter the basic information. You can select an existing Resource Access Management (RAM) user or create a RAM user. After you select a RAM user, enter a custom username. The associated RAM user cannot be changed after it is selected. You can also add optional remarks. When you are finished, click Save and Continue to Configure Permissions.
Configure permissions
After you save the user, you can configure their permissions. You can select multiple roles. The system has three built-in roles: Quality Inspector, Customer Service, and Permission Administrator. For more information about how to configure custom role types, see Role management.
Edit permissions
You can edit user permissions by assigning one or more roles. This determines which features the user can access and helps improve collaboration and management.
Go to User Management, click Edit Permissions, select the role names, and then click Save.
View user roles and permissions
On the User Management page, hover over the Permissions button for a user to view the permissions associated with their assigned roles.
Edit and delete users
Edit role: You can modify the username and description by clicking the Edit button.
Delete user: Click the Delete button to remove users that are no longer needed.
