Purchase a Storage Capacity Unit (SCU) from the ECS console to offset pay-as-you-go storage costs across supported products in a region.
Prerequisites
Your account has no outstanding payments.
Procedure
Log in to the ECS console.

Navigate to the Storage Capacity Units page.

Click Create SCU.

Configure the following parameters on the Create SCU page.

Click Subscribe and complete the payment.
Result
The SCU appears on the Storage Capacity Units (SCUs) page with a status of Creating. When the status changes to Active, it automatically offsets pay-as-you-go bills for eligible storage products in the selected region.

To view hourly deduction records, click View Bills in the Actions column of the SCU list. This opens the Expenses and Costs console.
