You can release a pay-as-you-go instance or unsubscribe from a subscription instance in the ApsaraDB for SelectDB console.
Deleting an instance permanently removes all its resources and data, which cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution.
Prerequisites
The instance must be in the Running state.
Procedure
Pay-as-you-go instance

Log on to the ApsaraDB for SelectDB console.

In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where your instance is located.

On the Instances page, in the row for the target Instance ID/Name, in the Actions column, click More, and select Release.

In the dialog box that appears, carefully read the message and then click OK.
Subscription instance

Log on to the ApsaraDB for SelectDB console.

In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where your instance is located.

On the Instances page, in the row for the target Instance ID/Name, in the Actions column, click More, and select Unsubscribe.

In the dialog box that appears, carefully read the message and then click OK.
