You can enable auto-renewal when you create a Container Service or manually renew it later.

Background

When a Container Service expires, it automatically shuts down. For 15 days after expiration, its status changes to Disabled. In this state, the service cannot be accessed from the public internet. To reactivate the service, you must renew it. If you do not renew the service within this 15-day period, it is automatically released.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Simple Container Service page in the Simple Application Server console.

  2. On the card of the Container Service you want to renew, click Renew.

If you have multiple Container Services, you can enter a container ID in the search box to filter the results.

    Note

Alternatively, you can click the container service instance ID and then click Renew in the upper-right corner of the service overview page.

  3. On the Renew page, set the Duration and verify the current configuration and expiration time.

The Renew page displays the following information:

    • The top section displays the current configuration of your Container Service and its expiration time before renewal.

    • The bottom section displays the chosen subscription duration and the new expiration time after renewal.

  4. Confirm that the information is correct, select the checkboxes for I have read and agree to the Simple Application Server Service Agreement and I have read and agree to the Image Usage Agreement, and then click Buy Now.

  5. On the Pay for your order. page, confirm the order details, select a payment method, and then click Pay for your order..
