SLS provides built-in CloudLens for SLS alert monitoring rules. Add alert instances to monitor SLS in real time and receive notifications through DingTalk and other channels.
Prerequisites
Log collection is enabled for critical logs, detailed logs, job run logs, and audit logs in the target project. Enable the log collection feature.
Background information
CloudLens for SLS provides preset alert monitoring rules, such as baseline alerts and comparative alerts, to monitor projects, Logtail, and consumer groups. Notification methods include SMS, DingTalk, email, voice calls, and custom webhooks. You can enable different alerts based on your use case.
-
Baseline alert: Fires when a value exceeds or drops below a set baseline. Example: a project's quota is exceeded more than twice.
-
Comparative alert: Fires when the rate of change between the current value and a historical value exceeds a threshold. Example: the day-over-day growth rate of Logtail collection errors exceeds 20%.
Procedure
- Log on to the Log Service console.
-
In the Log Application section, on the Cloud Service Lens tab, click CloudLens for SLS.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, click Anomaly Detection.
-
On the Alert Rules tab, click Create Alert > Create From Template. Create an alert monitoring rule.
