Create users and user groups for SLS alert notifications-Simple Log Service(SLS)-阿里云帮助中心

If you want to send alert notifications by text message, email, or voice call, you must create users or user groups as notification recipients.

Step 1: Create users

Log on to the Simple Log Service console.
Go to the User Management tab.
1. In the Projects section, click a project.
2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Alerts.
3. On the Alert Center page, choose Notification Objects > User Management.

Create users.

In the Add User dialog box, set the following parameters and click Confirm.

Parameter	Description
ID	User ID. Must be unique within the Alibaba Cloud account.
Username	Name of the user.
Phone Number	Mobile number with country code. Example: 86-1381111***. Turn on Receive Text Message to notify this user by text message. Turn on Receive Phone Call** to notify this user by voice call.
Email	Email address. Click Add to enter additional addresses. Note At least one of Phone Number or Email is required.
Enable	Turn on Enable to send alert notifications to this user.

Log on to the Simple Log Service console.
Go to the User Group Management tab.
1. In the Projects section, click a project.
2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Alerts.
3. On the Alert Center page, choose Notification Objects > User Group Management.

Create user groups.

In the Add User Group dialog box, set the following parameters and click Confirm.

Parameter	Description
ID	User group ID. Must be unique.
Group Name	Name of the user group.
Available members	Users you created.
Selected members	Users to add to this group.
Enable	Turn on Enable to send alert notifications to this group.
