Offset rules

• New resource plans (prepaid plan2.0) can be used to offset all billable items in Simple Log Service.

• A resource plan provides a fixed monthly quota during its validity period. If you use more resources than the monthly quota provides, the excess usage is charged based on the pay-as-you-go billing method.

  For example, if you purchase a resource plan of 100,000 Compute Units (CUs)/month with a 3-year validity period, you receive a quota of 100,000 CUs each month for three years to offset your Simple Log Service fees.

• Resource plans cannot be used to offset fees for other Alibaba Cloud products.

• It resets at the beginning of each month.

• Deductions cannot be applied across different products.

• A resource plan can only be used to offset fees for its corresponding billable item, not for other billable items.

  A resource plan can be used to offset fees only for its corresponding billable item. For example, a Simple Log Service storage plan can be used to offset fees only for the Log Storage billable item.

Offset order

• If you have both new and legacy resource plans, legacy resource plans are applied first to offset fees. Legacy plans include data transfer plans, index traffic plans, and storage plans.

• If you have multiple resource plans of the same type, the plan that expires first is applied first.
