When you use Server Migration Center (SMC) to migrate a Linux operating system, the migration task may fail with the "Baota is installed" error. This error occurs because Baota is installed on the source server. To resolve this issue, uninstall Baota before the migration.
Problem description
The "Baota is installed" error occurs when you migrate a Linux operating system by using SMC.
Cause
Baota is installed on the source server.
Solution
Uninstall Baota from the source server before you start the migration.

Create a snapshot to back up data. For more information, see Create a snapshot for a disk.

Uninstall Baota from the source server to be migrated.
After the operating system is migrated, reinstall Baota if required.

After you resolve the network issue, run the SMC client to retry the operation. For more information, see Run the SMC client.
