Enable or disable log analysis
Enable log analysis for Alibaba Cloud SMS to query, analyze, process, and consume SMS logs through Log Service.
Usage notes

You have activated Alibaba Cloud SMS and Log Service.

Enable log analysis

Log on to the Alibaba Cloud SMS Console.

In the left navigation bar, select .

On the Log Analysis page, click Authorize.

Click OK and follow the prompts to grant the AliyunServiceRoleForDysmsLog RAM role to Alibaba Cloud SMS for Log Service access.
Important-
An Alibaba Cloud account must perform this one-time authorization.

If you use a RAM user, ensure it has the required permissions. Grant permissions to a RAM user.

Do not revoke the authorization or delete the RAM role. Otherwise, SMS logs cannot be delivered to Log Service.

After you enable log analysis, the system creates a project named sms-log-{your Alibaba Cloud account ID} and a logstore named sms-log.
Log analysis is enabled upon successful authorization.

View your data in the Log Operations Center, Business Statistics Center, and O&M Center.
Disable log analysis
To disable log analysis, delete the dedicated project and the associated RAM roles.

Go to the Project list and delete the
sms-log-{your Alibaba Cloud account ID}project. -
Go to the RAM Roles list and delete the AliyunServiceRoleForDysmsLog and AliyunServiceRoleForSLSAudit RAM roles.
After you delete these resources, log analysis is disabled on the following day.
You are billed for the day you delete the resources and the following day. Charges stop after that.
Advanced management
Use the Log Service console to configure alerts, consume logs in real time, ship data, and connect visualization services.

Log on to the Alibaba Cloud SMS Console.

In the left navigation bar, select .

In the upper-right corner, click Set Log Retention Period.

In the dialog box, click Log Service Console.
The Set Log Retention Period dialog shows the logstore as
dysms-logwith a default retention period of 7 days. You can set the retention period from 7 to 3,000 days. -
