Configure notifications to receive advance warnings before private certificates expire, when the PCA feature expires, or when your certificate quota runs low — preventing service disruptions caused by expired certificates or an exhausted quota.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
A private CA created. For more information, see Overview
Configure PCA notifications
Log on to the Certificate Management Service console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Certificate and Domain Application Services > Notification.
On the PCA Service tab, find the root certificate or intermediate certificate for which you want to configure notifications, and click Edit in the Actions column.
In the Edit Message Reminder panel, turn on Notification Switch, configure the parameters, and then click OK.
Parameter Description Alert Contact Select a contact from the drop-down list. If no contacts exist, click Create Contact to add one — Certificate Management Service saves it for future use. You can specify up to 10 contacts. For details, see Manage contacts. Notification Method Select how to receive notifications. Valid values: Email Address, Internal Message, and DingTalk/WeCom/Lark. To use DingTalk, WeCom, or Lark, first add a webhook URL for the respective app when creating a contact on the Information Management page. For details, see Manage contacts. Notification Time Select the delivery window for notifications. All Day: notifications are sent at the same time of day as when the private certificate was purchased. For example, a certificate purchased at 05:00 triggers notifications at 05:00. 9:00-20:00: notifications are sent only between 09:00 and 20:00. For the same 05:00 purchase example, notifications are sent starting at 09:00. Expiration Deadline Notification Select how far in advance to receive expiration alerts. The range is 1 to 90 days before expiration. For example, selecting 1 Days Before Expiration sends one notification per day on the day before the certificate expires. Certificate Margin Reminder Select the remaining quota threshold that triggers alerts. The range is 1% to 99%. For example, selecting 10% sends one notification per day when 10% of your purchased certificate quota remains.
