Key concepts and access points

Available credit

Log in to the Costs console. The homepage shows your Available Credit, which includes cash, credit control, and credit control refunds. Hover over this section to view the relationship between your available credit, credit control limit, unsettled balance for the current month (consumption incurred but not yet billed), and unsettled historical balance (billed credit control arrears from previous months).

Billing Account ID and Account ID

The Costs console uses Billing Accounts to manage funds and track transactions. Each Billing Account has a system-generated, globally unique Billing Account ID. The system uses this ID internally and requires no action from you. What is a Billing Account?

An Alibaba Cloud account is the primary entity for asset ownership, billing, and access control. Each account has a unique, 16-digit Account ID.

When you create an Alibaba Cloud account, a Billing Account is automatically created to handle fund management and payment settlement.

When you set a payer account in the Account Center, the corresponding Billing Account ID is displayed. Use the logon name to identify the payer account.

Transaction details

Log in to the Costs homepage. In the Available Credit section, click Transaction Details.

On the Billing Account page, in the Available Credit section, click Transaction Details to the right of Cash Balance.
